Who we are:

Global Research Administration and Management Services is a pioneer registered private company specializing in Organisational Capacity Strengthening with a particular focus on Research Management.

We realize that institutions need solid management systems in place to ably manage pre and post-award management processes and so we help institutions – especially those with intensive research programs – to strengthen their organizational capacity through the pre and post-award process.

GRAMS facilitates institutions (especially those with intensive research programs) in strengthening their organizational capacity through the provision of advisory and active interventional support aimed at ensuring robust and compliant pre and post-award processes.

What we do:

GRAMS works with institutions, helping them to boost their capacity – human resource, financial, administrative, and legal capacity –  to position them to favorably compete for grants.

GRAMS supports institutions and individuals with the necessary registrations required by different funders. We also support the proposal preparation and application processes, as well as provide post-award management services.

We also aim to bring funding opportunities to potential applicants and also help institutions and individuals actively respond to relevant funding opportunities with a special focus on applicants from low- and middle-income countries.




How we do it

GRAMS has developed an adaptable and highly participatory Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) tool. The tool is carefully administered to determine the Organizational capabilities in the processes for applying for, and managing funds (especially grants). The tool is used to help in identifying and laying out the specific management areas that require further strengthening. Based on the results from the assessment, GRAMS then leads the organization’s operational, management and governance teams (using a participatory approach) to develop a framework and work plan for the appropriate system improvements that are identified.
